A brief history of this project and its future purpose
MyPast
Born in 1983, I developed my passion for music listening to Queen, Dire Straits, and Franco Battiato. However, it was an old music cassette playing "The Prisoner" by Iron Maiden that caught my attention. I began as a classical guitarist, later falling in love with the electric guitar and experimenting with the bass. Meanwhile, I continued to explore music and broaden my interests. My deep passion for cinema introduced me to the melancholic tones of Elliot Goldenthal (Heat), the epic themes of Hans Zimmer (Inception) and Trevor Jones (The Last of the Mohicans), the dreamy atmosphere of Joe Hisaishi (Hana-bi), and many others, leading me to incorporate keyboards and synthesizers.
Productions
I've produced various demos with rock and heavy metal bands. Simultaneously, I started working with independent film directors, composing and recording soundtracks for their films. My first involvement was in the horror film House of Flesh Mannequinsstrong> in 2009, followed by the documentary films Viaggio in Italia and Verso il Nord in 2007 and 2008. In late 2009, I recorded Where the Last Wave Broke, a collection of songs released up to that point and more. Within Stephen King's "A Dollar Baby" initiative, I composed the soundtrack for the thriller The Boogeyman in 2013, based on one of his stories. In 2015, I began working on Deep Shock (Davide Melini, 2019), paying tribute to the Italian-style thriller epics of the 1970s.
